About UnboxStep

We build the AI assembly assistant: an assistant that builds the product with your customer, step by step. It knows each step, part and screw, answers questions in the customer’s language, checks a photo of their work and hands real problems to your support team, so nobody has to call support to find out which screw goes where. What it shows is an interactive 3D guide made from the manual you already have: you upload the PDF — or a CAD file, if you have one — and it becomes step-by-step 3D instructions with a parts list, multi-language, reached from a QR code on the box.

We build UnboxStep for the companies that ship boxed, flat-packed products: furniture makers, garden and outdoor brands, play equipment, appliances and home fitness, e-bikes and mobility — and the support teams who answer the same assembly questions every week. UnboxStep is built by a small team of product engineers and technical writers. We spent years watching assembly instructions fail on paper, in PDFs and in videos, and we built the tool we wanted: one that starts from the manual you already have, keeps your brand on the guide, and shows you where customers really get stuck.
